ولا تَنْسَوْا إِذا أَطْفالُكُمْ نامُوا هَنِيئًا

أنَّنا فِي القَصْفِ لَمْ تَغْمَضْ لنا عَيْنُ

وَإِنْ شَبِعَتْ صِغارُكُمُ ... وَزَادَ بِصَحْنِكُمْ زَادٌ

بِأنّا مُنْذُ أَعوامٍ وَلَمْ تَشْبَعْ لَنَا بَطْنُ

وَلا تَنْسَوْا ... إِذا شَرِبُوا حَلِيبًا طَازَجًا ...

صُبْحًا ... مَسَاءً ... وَارْتَوَى البَدَنُ

بِأَنَّ الأُمّهاتِ صُدورُها جَفّتْ ...وأنّ عُروقَنا يَبِسَتْ

وَأَنَّ صِغارَنا انْطفأتْ

وَجَنْدَلَ رُوحَها الوَهْنُ

ولا تَنْسَوْا إِذا أَنْتُمْ تَمتَّعْتُمْ بِأَضواءٍ مُزَخْرَفةٍ

بِأَنَّ نَهارَنا لَيلٌ ... وَأنّا لَيْلُنا مِحَنُ

ولا تَنْسَوْا ... أَلا بِاللهِ لا تَنْسَوْا

بِأنّا رَغْمَ كُلِّ الجُوعِ وَالتّدْمِيْرِ وَالتّقْتِيلِ وَالتَّشْرِيدِ
